The POSTCARDS  started simply because I wanted to use up my prints from exhibitions and talks.   I trimmed  the white borders . Originally, I cut randomly, thinking it would be more abstract but later cut to the best composition. Most of my prints are 10 inches 10 inches square, so it only makes two postcards cut down the middle and trimmed to size.  The offcuts are saved to use with dies and additions to the postcard.The smaller section changes the composition of the image. This allows the story to continue or change from the prints. Most of my dies are Tim Holtz products, the basic shapes cut from Sixxiz dies which I use for crafting. Some dies are the focus and others simply tiny additions scubas tiny dots.  Adding to this ink or paint to the surface of the print, this distorts the basic image. The final addition is to add detail with paint and pens.  Combining the two works towards the final finished piece. I’ve listed the postcards by theme which is how they are made. Some postcards are distorted due to the drying process.
