Mass Makes - March 23

One of the You Tube Channels I watch for inspirations Tracie Fox.  This made me join her creative community on FaceBook

Being a member of the group gives me themes and ideas. March is in the crafting world Mass Make March. Tracie did a demo on making corner pockets. Step one in the Mass make March challenge. For the corner pockets I used papers from a download on Etsy and some home made backdrop papers. Deciding at this point not to decorate or ink them until I knew what I would use them for.

Once the flip pockets have been made I knew they needed tuck pieces to go with them.  Creating my own paper backdrops was fun and easy to do with my photographic background. Making tags shouldn’t be that difficult, three sizes and words was all I needed. The starting point, was one of the backdrops I’d created for the back of my pockets, adding to this the words, letters & numbers. The border was a final addition to the file just to put a little detail to the cards.  Printing on a cream coloured card added that hint of vintage. At this point I thought they needed a little colour by stamping with various stamps in blue (TH chipped sapphire) and (TH aged mahogany).
