Cats in Hats
To create with the little cats , Miscievious Tim Holtz. Months ago I cut out lots of little cats decided it was time to use them when the Tailored Die arrived in the post. A perfect match. The idea came from Dr Seuss.
STAGE 1 – Decorate the craft paper with various related Tim Holtz stamps to give a themes background. including the top hat stamp. Now, using a punch tool to get the curved shape at the top cut out the tags.
STAGE 2 – The cats are cut from a selections of paper with patterns drawn on with felt tip pens to give cat stripes. The dies have heads to but decided not to use them.
STAGE 3 – Finally, the hats using a very of coloured card and then just mixed and matched to create the hats. In addition to the basic items I used Tim Holtz ephemera and cheesecloth which had been dies with ink.
