Trees
TREES
Theres something about Trees that I”ve always been fascinated by. The freshness that bring. Have you ever really looked at a tree and its leaves. they’re so special.. Cut down the trees and you’ll kill the planet.

Dog Walker 2007
Another favourite image. It has so many memories. The original was taken on Anglesey while on holiday. Just love the colours. It's about the blending modes.

CourtyARd Tree 2012
We visited an old abbey with very little still used but this beautiful tree stood in the courtyard contasting the greens against the brown stonework.

Forrest Walk 2007
Anglesey again, the woodland on the coast is mainly pine. the dark shadows makes it spooky. Added textures to create the atmosphere.

Autumn Tree 2017
A set of six in all. This I think was my favourite. The skeleton on the tree silhouetted against the textures that are the backdrop. I like the way the tree touches the moon highlighted but the colour contrast.

Equinox 2017
This was created as part of a set of work for a gallery on the theme Equinox. It was an image that I struggled with but the final print is one that makes me smile.

HIDDEN. 2021
Trying a new technique here, loved the way it all blended and contested against each other. Blues and browns work so well together.

Misty Lake 2021
The misty trees against the lake have a calmness to the image. The cool colours add to that. Another from Anglesey. Looks great printed.

STAR TREES 2020
A set of Christmas Cards. The Starlight Trees. It's fun to play, The simplicity of blue and white give the chill of the snowy star lit night. I had a few people guessing how I did this one.
