Spooky Scarecrows
The Scarecrow is a great stamp set and it gives you so many options. Here’s mine.
Firstly, I coloured one but wasn't happy with it. The solution to this was to use Tim Holtz Backdrops & Wallpapers and stamp directly onto them. Then cut them out trimmed off the head but kept the hat. Stamped their T shirts to add individuality.
The Background are created from TH inks and water.
Colours used are yellows, browns and greens.
The Pumpkin Heads are created from Mica sprayed card and Stamps & Stencils Halloween. Then cut out and attached to the scarecrow body.
Cocktail Sticks are distressed with ink at the tips to replace the arms.
The Pumpkin sticks are created from Coffee Sticks. I broke them in half and cut them a little. Doesn't really matter as you don't see it one the final one.
Constructed scarecrows and added straw.
Backgrounds - Used the corn stamp to add background detail.
The Corn is created from dies in the Abstract Elements.
Layer them and trim.
Stamped the Moon from Scarecrow Stamps. The Moon is cut from Mica Spray card and a circle die . the paper could only cut 1 and a half circles.
Cut again to create a Cresent moon.
All the bits are handy to keep.

Background to finish the make is bubble printed with Ranger Archival Ink
The finishing touches are form idea-ology, pre cut dies and bat stamp from The Scarecrow Stamp set and my stash.
