Caught in a Web
CAUGHT IN A WEB
This little set of tags was inspired by watched a butterfly caught in a spider’s web. I naturally freed it.
I’d perviously made the insects and tags.
Mica sprayed card & messy sheets to cut the Funky Bugs - die Tim Holts 665364
Tags - 3D Embossing Folder Skulls with Old Paper Oxide to create the shadows & edged with Tim Holtz paint- Seedless Preserve.
Spiders are from my stash from last year. painted them with Seedless Preserve to make each one different. Glitter added to the body.
Stage 1 - Using bright thread, created the web. you can stamp one of Tims webs on the back and follow that but I did mine freehand to get different webs.
Stage 2 - place the bug and sew over it on the next web construction. Added Tim Holtz glitter to a couple of joins on the web. .
Tags - I used The collector Tag Dies and stamped them with variety of Tim Holtz Stamps. Attach to the web with same colour thread
