Rainbow Colours 2016
The Open Eye Gallery is a gallery dedicated purely to Photography. A great range of work from war torn countries and women in power, It's a gallery you nip into to see what's on. Friendly and different. Its had several homes in Liverpool but now located in a modern purpose built galley at Mann Island, near the New Liverpool Museum and Pier Head.
To my excitement, in 2016, The Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool had the exterior of the Gallery painted with multicoloured drips and splashes. I spent some time photographing them, large areas and small cameo shots. I've used them as overlays and backgrounds. Often just for addition of colours etc. This is the base for the rainbow colours in the images. They almost make pieces of art in themselves.
I really like doing tree images as they give you not only a natural feel but a great focal point. They are created to be fun and make you smile. Not really Competition images but would project well. There are two more in the set but have additional images included in them. The idea came from trees being lit up at night to allow you to visit Stately Homes and Gardens at night. Something really different.
They have approx. twenty five layers in each and have been created in Photoshop.
